Department Purchases for Apple iPad
This document covers the purchasing of an Apple iPad for university departments.
Apple iPad tablets – Call for specs
Note: The University does not purchase iPads with central funds but iPads are ordered through CIT. iPads may be ordered with additional department or grant funding, however they are not a replacement for your office workstation. In order to install software on an iPad you will need to set up an Apple iTunes account and pay for purchases via P-Card or personal credit card and file for reimbursement at your department's discretion.
- To order iPads - see Ordering section below
- To order Apps - see Apps section below
To see what models and accessories are available please go to the Apple Store. Select a model and it will prompt you for additional options. Note: iPad 2's are still available at a reduced price. Accidental damage protection is available for an additional $99 at time of purchase.
