Memory Upgrades: Memory upgrades to campus workstations must be handled through the IT Repair area. The price for such upgrades varies depending on the type of computer and the amount of memory being added.
Cables: IT stocks some cables in addition to the ones listed above such as parallel, USB, monitor, and serial
Video, SCSI, Serial, or Parallel Cards: Due to the unique configuration and requirements of University workstations, any add-in cards such as video, serial, or parallel cards must be handled through IT Repair.
Media: Media such as USB flash drives, and CD/DVD’s can be obtained via the office supply contracts available to University departments. These purchases do not go through IT.
Miscellaneous: Other miscellaneous computer add-ons such as external hard drives, printer switches, or video adapters may not be stocked by CIT. CIT is willing to provide recommendations on manufacturers, models, and sources for these items.
