Windows 10 - Remote File Access to Course Share via WebDAV

This document details how to configure WebDAV for remote course share access on a Windows 10 PC.

Setting up Remote File Access

1. Open File Explorer on your PC

        1. Select "This PC" on the left.

        2. Select "Computer" at the top.

2. From the Computer tab, select "Map network drive."

3. The window below will open. Select "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures."

4. Select "Next."

5. Select "Choose a custom network location."

6. On the following screen:

        1. Enter the name of your course share using the following format: https://fpsb.uwgb.edu/course share name.

        2. Select "Next."

7. When prompted for your credentials:

        1. Enter in your UWGB credentials.

        2. Select "OK."

8. On the following screen:

        1. Name the location. 

        ***NOTE: Changing the name from the default is optional.***

        2. Select "Next."

9. Once the course share has been successfully accessed, you will see the window below.

        1. Check the box next to "Open this network location when I click Finish."

        2. Select "Finish."

You are all set once the course share opens another File Explorer window to display its contents.
