***NOTE: Once you have uploaded videos in My Media or recorded them with Kaltura Capture, you can embed them in Canvas pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, and announcements with the Rich Content Editor.***
1. Navigate to an editable Canvas page, a discussion, an assignment that allows text entry submissions, etc., and select the Edit button with the pencil icon, the Reply button for discussion posts, or the Start Assignment button to open the Rich Content Editor.
2. In the Rich Content Editor, select the My Media button in the toolbar. If you do not see this button in the toolbar, first select the More... button (three dots icon) to reveal additional toolbar buttons, then select the My Media button.
3. A window with your My Media library will open. Find the video you want to insert and select the </> Embed button to insert the video with default settings or click the gear-shaped "Embed Settings" icon to use advanced video embed options.
4. Your video should appear in the text box of the Rich Content Editor. Select Save, Post Reply, or Submit Assignment to save your work.
