[OK]; Students, instructors, and staff can log in at mediaspace.wisconsin.edu

[~]; Experience is virtually identical to a browser on a computer. Caveat: While it technically works to record a new video on mobile, it is better to upload existing recordings—file size can be an issue here depending on the device/format/quality of the recording.

[~]KMS Go app works with the mediaspace.wisconsin.edu address for recording and uploading videos. Students will still need to use a browser to put that video somewhere. (NOTE: On iPad, the app is “scaled” for iPhone)

[!]; Not available via the Canvas navigation. Media Gallery does not appear in Navigation. Not available in the rich content editor.  [~]; If links are sufficient, a student can add those but needs to make the video public or unlisted (which can be tricky).

[OK]Instructors must use the VoiceThread external tool integration in Canvas when adding VTs to courses to ensure the proper creation and association of student VT accounts. Do copy and paste share or “embed” links from VT into Canvas.

[~]; Requires download of the VoiceThread app from the Apple AppStore or Google Play store. Instructors and students should not attempt to login to the VT app before first accessing a VT through a Canvas course, at which point they will be logged in automatically to the VT app. Students can submit assignments with the mobile VT app, but grading VT assignments is currently not supported with the VT app and must be done in a non-mobile web browser.

[~]See previous column.

[!]VT Assignments, Module Items, and VT links generally do not launch properly when accessed through the Canvas Student apps both on Android and iOS devices. Strongly recommend using Chrome or Safari on mobile to launch VTs from Canvas instead.

Instructors will have difficulty viewing and grading VT assignments on mobile and must use a Desktop/Laptop computer.
