Will the Library Pull Books off the Shelf for Me?
Yes. Below you can see the 3 steps to do so.
The Cofrin Library offers a Pull Service for our patrons that enables you to
place a request for a book on-line and have a staff member pull that book off of
the shelf and hold it for you at the 3rd Floor Circulation Desk.
In order to place a request for a book:
- Search for a book in the catalog however you see fit. When you find the book that you need, click on the box labeled “Request an Item” at the top of the page.
- You will then be asked for your ID number and Last Name.
- On the following page, choose “Retrieve a book from the shelf for me” from the drop down menu and click “OK”. You will then be asked to enter your ID number again before clicking the “Submit Request” button. Your request will then be sent to the library staff.
Please allow 24 hours for the staff to process this request. You will be contacted once your book is available for pick-up. If you have any questions about this service, contact the Circulation Desk at 920-465-2540.
