WISER - Authorization and Login

WISER is replacing WISDM as the new web-based reporting system. Data in WISER comes from the Shared Financial System (SFS) and the Human Resource System (HRS). This system contains transaction as well as demographic data on projects and grants and allows exporting of data into multiple formats for review and analysis.

Authorization

Note: If you have a WISDM account, you have a WISER account with the same permissions.

For UW-Madison only, a WISER authorization request form can be found at: WISER Access Authorization Form.

For all other campuses, users should contact their local WISER administrator. A list of WISER Support Contacts can be found at: WISER Support Contacts.

Since administrator approval is needed, all requests should come from WISER functional administrators and not individual WISER users.

De-authorization

For UW-Madison only, WISER access is not automatically terminated when an employee leaves the UW. Another WISER authorization form needs to be submitted to Accounting Services indicating access needs to be removed. There is a designated field in the file to delete the WISER user. This form can be found at:  WISER Access Authorization Form.

For all other campuses, users should refer back to their local WISER administrator.

Individuals with authorization should login at: https://wiser.wisc.edu/.

Usernames are specific to each campus. See Universities of Wisconsin - Login Credentials for Each Campus (Wisconsin Federation).

If you have completed the authorization process and are still unable to log into WISER, please contact the UWSA Problem Solvers (uwsaproblemsolvers@uwsa.edu).
