Impero Instructional Software
This document discusses Impero, the software used in UWGB's instructional labs to manage student computers.
IT has licensed Impero instructional software for all computer classrooms in the IS General Access lab, the Writing lab, the Computer Science lab, and Wood Hall computer lab.
Instructors can use Impero to:
Monitor student screens, project the instructor's monitor or another student screen to all students, receive questions from students via Impero chat, and instructors also have the capability to blank all screens, disable mice and keyboards, or block applications to ensure that students aren't distracted.
Please note that Edge browser will not work on any computer that has Impero installed. This is due to the software not being able to see what Edge is displaying.
