Enrolling in the Password Reset Tool and Changing Your Password

The following outlines how to enroll in the password reset tool and outlines instructions for how to use the password reset tool to change your password.

Navigate to this page.  Click on the Change Password option if you know your password and Forgot Password if you've forgotten your password.  
If you've forgotten your password and have not yet enrolled in the password reset tool, please call the IT Help Desk at (920) 465-2309.  




Change or Forgot Password


Enter your username (without @uwgb.edu) and current password in the fields provided.

When prompted with the following screen, click Click Here.
Enroll

Enter an alternate email address to which verification codes can be sent.  Once you've entered your alternate email, click Send Code.  This will register your alternate email for future use with the Password Reset Tool.

When you receive the email, copy the code and enter it into the field provided.

Once you've verified your email, you will see the following:

Now that you're enrolled, click the Change Password tab up at the top.  Enter your old password and a new password, one which meets the requirements listed.  Be sure to confirm your new password in the field provided. 

Note: Your password should not be any of your last 24 passwords for UWGB.  Be sure you aren't using any personally identifiable information within your password.  A red line under your password indicates your new password does not meet one of the requirements.  Once the line turns green, your password is considered acceptable by the system.

If you've strictly followed the requirements and are still unable to change your password, please call the IT Help Desk at (920) 465-2309.  Be sure to state to the technician the exact error you receive.

 Once complete, click Change Password.

From the drop down, select your alternate email address to send a verification code and complete the captcha.

Note: If your UWGB email address is the only one listed, you will need to call the IT Help Desk at (920) 465-2309.  You will need to provide to the technician some personally identifiable information.  Be sure to know the last four digits of your social security number before you call.  Technicians are unable to reset passwords via email.

Enter the verification code you received via email and complete the captcha.
