New scam targets UW students

Financial Aid Phishing email
UWGB Information Security has been notified of a new scam that is targeting UW students.
The scam involved an email and a website that mimicked those at the university, and the message urged them to review their financial aid account for missing information. We cannot stress to you enough the importance of questioning each and every email that asks to you to provide information about yourself. If you question an email at all please forward it as an attachment to abuse@uwgb.edu and the IT Security team will verify it for you.
