The New Rich Content Editor is a per-course opt-in feature. If you have not manually enabled RCE Enhancements in your course settings, refer to this guide instead: Kaltura - Inserting Videos in Canvas.

Kaltura (referred to as "My Media" in Canvas) is the video portal for instructors, students, and staff across the University of Wisconsin System. Instructors, students, and staff can use it to easily upload, store, stream, and share (or restrict) videos.

Once you have uploaded videos in My Media or recorded them with Kaltura Capture, you can embed them in Canvas pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, and announcements with the New Rich Content Editor.

1. Go to an editable Canvas page, discussion, etc. and click the Edit button with the pencil icon (or Reply for discussion posts) to open the New Rich Content Editor.
