eduroam - Connecting on Mac

This document details how to connect your Mac to the eduroam wireless network.

Connecting to eduroam

1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, click on the wifi symbol

The wifi symbol is to the left of the battery symbol and to the right of the magnifying glass icon.

2. Under "Wi-Fi", select eduroam

        a. If your Wi-Fi isn't turned on, click on the icon circled in the screenshot below

The sliding bar is to the right of where it says "Wi-Fi".

3. Next to "Account Name", enter your UWGB email - then, enter your password and select the arrows next to "No certificate selected"

        a. If you are on a Personal Mac, your device will skip to Step 5

4. Choose the certificate that has your Mac's GB Number if you are on a UWGB owned Mac

The certificate will say "gb".

5. On the "Verify Certificate" page, select "Continue"

"Continue" is in the bottom right corner of the pop up.

6. If your Mac successfully connected to eduroam, it will show up under "Known Network"

Under the wi-fi symbol in the top right corner of the screen, there should be a wi-fi symbol next to eduroam to indicate you are connected.
