Scheduling Computer Labs
This document describes how to schedule computer labs.
Many faculty may wish to schedule a computer lab for the entire semester or for a few specific dates during the term. If your class requires use of computers at least 50% of the time, you would generally be scheduled into a computer lab by the Registrar's office for the entire semester. If your class requires more occasional use of computers, you will want to schedule a lab for only those particular class sessions.
To reserve a computer lab for miscellaneous classes, you should contact the CIT help desk at 465-2309. You may also schedule through Bonnie Laundrie (x5755), Pat Theyerl (x5015), or a consultant in the General Access lab. Please note that computer labs are not scheduled by Central Reservations in the Union or others. This is due to the dynamic nature of the schedules and the fact that CIT wishes to ensure that all special technology considerations are being met.
You can view the Lab schedules in EMS if you are curious about availability.
Labs cannot be booked until the Registrar finishes scheduling classes. Usually all classes are booked 2 weeks before the semester starts.
