Map Network Share on Windows 7

This document covers how to map a network share/share drive on Windows 7 and higher.

Note: If you are mapping your home directory use the following path:    \\fpsa\b\boerschk          The letter is the first letter of your last name.

1.) Navigate to Start > Computer

2.) In computer navigate to "Map network drive".

3.) In the folder area enter the desired file path, and assign the desired letter. For example: \\fpsa\compserv$

4.) After getting the right information filled in select the option of reconnecting at log on; this will make it connect every time you log in.

5.) After this the drive will appear in your list of mapped drives.
