What does it mean if a reading is on reserve?

A reserve item is set aside for your class to use.

If your professor indicates they have something on Reserve at the library, that means they have selected a resource from the library or loaned a personal copy of an item they would like everyone in the class to be able to conveniently access. To check out a Reserve item, you will need to come to the library Public Service Desk located on the third floor of the library. The length of time you may borrow the item will be limited so that everyone in the class will have a chance to use it. You can contact the Public Service Desk at 920-465-2540 with questions.
