Clickers are tools to enhance classroom participation.
Clickers are small, handheld devices that students use to answer questions during class. Clickers can be used to enhance engagement during lectures by quizzes or surveys, and give other feedback to help your instructor check if the class has understood the information presented. If you are notified that your class is using a clicker, you can pick one up at the Library Public Services Desk on the 3rd floor. Make sure you have your ID with you. Your SIS account will be charged the $7 rental fee at the beginning of the semester, which you can either pay online through your SIS account or in person at the Bursar's office.You will want to check your clicker out early in the semester as many classes begin using the clickers right away and give you a "practice" period before they start recording participation. Clickers must be returned to the library at the end of the semester. Failure to return your clicker may result in unnecessary fees.
