Home Use - Install Office 365 on a iPad
.) Navigate to the AppStore on your iPad.
This document details how to install Office 365 mobile applications on an Apple iPad with iOS 8 or higher.
.) Search the AppStore for "Microsoft Office" or a very similar term.
.) Once you are presented with the Microsoft Office Apps you will be able to install them. If you have downloaded them perviously a small cloud icon will appear next to them to download them. If you have never downloaded them with your Apple ID before you will be presented with a "GET" button. Simply select that to kick off the download.
.) The download and subsequent install will take about fifteen minutes and may take longer if on a slower Wi-Fi connection.
.) When the installs are all done navigate to one of the Microsoft Office applications. (For this example we will use Word. They should all be very similar for the registration process)
.) Once the Microsoft Office application (Word in this example) is open it will present you with a few welcome tiles. Simply swipe the the last card to get to the sign in page.
.) Select sign in, and provide your campus e-mail address when asked for it. If for any reason it asks what account to use select "Work" (Some users may have this if they have used Microsoft services in the past with their campus e-mail).
.) After your e-mail address is verified it will direct you to our sign in page. Enter your password and sign in on that page. Office will then activate.
.) The Microsoft Office application (Word in this example) will then let you know that you are set to go. If you wish to opt out of their data collection program deselect the checkbox at the bottom of the page. For the other two Microsoft Office applications simply open them and repeat steps six to nine.
