Inserting a Video into D2L from Films on Demand

This document describes how to insert a video from Films on Demand into a D2L course page.

Go to the appropriate module in the content section of D2L and select "create a file" from among the options in "new" drop down menu

Next, give the document a title that the students will understand (the name of the film you wish to insert, for example).
Then, click the "insert stuff" button.

Select the "Films on Demand" icon in the menu on the left hand side.

Search for the film you wish to insert into your course.

search for the appropriate movie

Click on the button that says "embed" next to the film you would like.

click embed

Press the button that says "insert."

press insert

Finally, press "publish" and your students will be able to enjoy the video from within D2L.

press publish
