Turning Account Instructions for Students

Some instructors us a Classroom Response System (CRS) from Turning Technologies in their courses. This enables you to submit answers to in-class questions using your mobile device and link scores from these sessions to D2L.

*Note

You only need ONE License per semester. You may use your license for multiple courses. In order to complete the steps below, you should first 1) check with your instructor to ensure he or she uses THIS classroom response system (you DO NOT need to purchase a license if your instructor uses another CRS like Kahoot) and 2) purchase a semester license from the Phoenix Bookstore.

To Create an Account

Follow these steps if you have not created a Turning account for a previous semester.

  1. Log into D2L.
  2. Locate and click the TurningPoint Cloud link under Content.

  3. Enter your uwgb.edu email address in the area provided and click Create an account.

  4. Check your email and click the verification link.
  5. Enter all required fields and click Finish.

  6. Enter your License Code* and click Redeem.

  7. Click Finish.

To Add a License to an Existing Account

Follow these steps if you created a Turning account for a previous semester.

  1. Log into D2L.
  2. Locate and click the TurningPoint Cloud link under Content.
  3. Log in to your Turning account.
  4. Click Profile in the menu on the left.
  5. Click Manage Licenses.
  6. Click Add a License.

  7. Enter your License Code* and click Redeem.
